The Village of Pleasant Hill's website received the following:
"Message: I do not live nor have I ever lived in Pleasant Hill, but a number of my ancestors are buried in your cemetery. My occasional visits there have tugged at my heartstrings for some strange reason. For a village of only 1200, you do the most amazing things! Whoever puts together your newsletter (website) does such a polished professional job. A "pat on the back" to all. In my mind, you are all truly "The Heart of the USA!"
