Residents of Pleasant Hill,

There has been a number of residents who are mowing their grass clippings in the curb/gutters. With the signification amount of precipitation lately, the grass clippings are causing issues with proper drainage. Residents who continue to violate this ordinance can be charged with a minor misdemeanor.

Be advised that this is in violence of Village Ordinance 1074: An Ordinance relating to prohibiting yard waste and/or leaves in curb gutters and repealing ordinance No. 1029. Section One: It is not permissible at any time to sweep, blow, or otherwise place or dispose of grass or vegetation clippings, branches or other yard waste onto sidewalks, streets, curb gutters or other public rights of way.
