Village Manager

Duties:

- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors for facilities management services

- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the village.

- Working with others to develop village policies and procedures.

- Oversees the hiring, management of all employees.

- Administering the zoning and subdivision ordinances.

- Actively seek to retain and grown local business and bring new businesses to the village.

- Communicates on behalf of the Village.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in municipal government management or a related field helpful.

- College level coursework in Public Administration or work equivalent; degree preferred.

- Understanding of municipal utility systems.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong organizational skill.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, strong problem-solving abilities

- Valid State Driver’s license and insurable under village policy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Grant procurement
